Elegant Japanese brand FDMTL is back at it with their AW16 collection. The lookbook features humble-beginnings fabric styles (boro, we’re looking at you) melded into luxurious garments. Although the brand is known for their Okayama-produced denim, we’re seeing a strong emphasis on lightweight, layer-ready outwear: cardigans, short jackets, and more than a few dusters.
Unsurprisingly, indigo plays a starring role, whether in the patched and faded denim (often hemmed to ankle-baring heights), the patterned sweaters, or woven duster fabric – even blue leather makes up half of a motorcycle jacket.
