Viberg meets the big city in their latest release, a Chelsea boot done exclusively for online retailer Mr. Porter. Nearly all of the Canadian bootmaker’s past releases have had at least a thematic connection to their workwear origins. So this offering represents a departure for the big V into the realm of pure fashion.
That said, they don’t make it like a fashion boot. This Chelsea has all the trappings of a typical Viberg – thick lined suede upper, super dense leather midsole and plug, Dainite outsole, and a 270 degree Goodyear welt close off one of the tougher options on the market.
