Who says you can’t get fades from sitting at a desk all day? Not us. Today’s fade proves that even desk-bound writers can muster up some fades too. These Imogene + Willie Barton Rigid jeans come to us from Edward Kunz who bought them at the brand’s shop back when he used to live in Nashville.
Edward’s since moved to Oakland, California, and has worn these jeans almost every day since buying them. After putting wear into them biking around town, on the BART, and in coffee shops, it was time to repair a crotch blowout and he chose Self Edge for the job. More recent repairs to the crotch, cuff and pocket were done by Edward himself at home. Note the homemade charm of the pocket lining. While the fades have resulted in a nice, gentle blue, perhaps it’s Edward’s personal touches that make these jeans special.
