Tanner-Goods-Turned-Wooden-Bowls-Maple-Three-Cups

Long in the market of making highly portable carry goods, Tanner Goods has branched out to more of a sit-and-stay version of such functional vessels. Tanner has teamed up with architectural designer-turned master woodworker Sterling Collins, founder of Hew Woodworking.

Each bowl starts out as a solid block of wood and is hand-turned in Portland, Oregon. The wood is sustainable, locally harvested Walnut and Big Leaf Maple. The distinct character of the different types of wood is quite apparent: dark and marbled Walnut, creamy smooth Maple.

The bowls are available in a range of sizes, from 6 to 10 inches in diameter, and run $80-$130. Pick one up on the Tanner Goods website (and then set it down).
