Japanese brand Shuttle Notes may not be a household name at the moment, but its history reaches back before many of today’s tastemakers’ parents were even born. Shuttle Notes was established in 1948, and built a reputation for innovative textile technology.
They are newcomers to the ready-to-wear scene, though, and are slowly but steadily building collections that draw style influences from the many decades they’ve been around for. It’s not repro, rockabilly, contemporary, or workwear, but browsing through SS16 brings up subtle vintage vibes.
We’re interested to see the brand’s new focus take shape, and these 100% cotton oxford cloth button downs seem like a solid start.
