Fades like these are the reason people buy raw denim in the first place. Shawn Anderson from Los Angeles brings us The Flat Head x Self Edge SEXH05. He cold soaked them and then wore them while drying, an unusual technique but an effective one at that. In “Soaking Raw Denim“ we mention to sit in the tub with your jeans but Anderson’s method is just one of the many ways to produce great fades.
Anderson’s thigh fades have very little indigo left in them and they are without a phone fade giving the jeans a cleaner look. The stacking on these looks like he had someone spray paint them on, and they stack up all the way to the bottom of his knee, which has a rip in it. The honeycombs are no joke either!
